Everything you need to view PDS files
NASA collects data archived in a special PDS (Planetary Data System) format during its missions. MacOS-based devices do not have programs to view the information contained in these archives. They can only be opened with a text editor, which is of little use.
That's why the NASAView program is designed for opening such files. It is multiplatform, so that it can be installed and run on macOS devices.
What is this program?
NASAView for Mac is created using the Label Library Light (L3), Object Access Library (OAL), and the XVT Development Solution for C package. It has a user-friendly interface that is not much different from other computer programs, and its functionality includes viewing PDS files.
