A handy Mac app

Locker is a simple but effective application for Mac that allows you to lock files and folders on your computer. With this program, you can prevent unauthorized users from changing the contents of personal documents or deleting files without your permission. As you probably already know, Mac users can change permissions to access files and folders using the Finder application. You can right-click on the item icon, go to the Get Info menu and make the necessary changes. Locker offers you a more straightforward solution for changing access restrictions.

With the app, you can customize all the little details, such as the unlock button, clock background, or home screen. You can also create a personalized and unique status bar perfectly suited to your taste. This feature allowed users to unlock their phones by putting their finger on the home button, provided their device supported this feature.

Soon after the announcement, we started introducing this feature to Infinium apps that required some authentication. It was much faster than typing in a password, which delighted users.

Why download Locker on Mac?

To lock a file or folder, simply drag and drop it onto the application icon (from the Dock). The same goes for unlocking documents or folders (drag and drop the protected items onto the application icon) and the software will immediately change the restriction settings. If you have locked a folder with documents, unauthorized users can still open it and check its files. However, they cannot send any protected files to the Recycle Bin or change their contents. In conclusion, this application provides a simple and fast solution for locking files and folders on your Mac. The program is elementary to use, is quietly placed in the Dock, and is not expensive.
