Diablo Immortal for iOS is the official sequel to the famous RPG Hack and Slash action franchise with MMO elements. The creators informed fans at BlizzCon that the game would only be a continuation of the story at BlizzCon. However, Diablo Immortal has turned into a complete AAA gaming project. The action takes place between Diablo 2 and Diablo 3.

What is this game?

In Diablo Immortal, you have to fight with the army of Skarn, the most powerful demon. His infernal armies must distract you while Skarn is in search of the shards of the Worldstone to resurrect Diablo in the future. To prevent the entire world from engulfing infernal horror, you must end all the filthy demonic deeds.

The game developers are not only from Blizzard but also from the Chinese company NatEase Games. They were chosen because of several factors. The primary one is that they have been developing games for mobile platforms for a long time, i.e., they are more experienced in mobile RPG games than Blizzard.

Storyline

After the death of Baal, the Lord of Destruction, who stained the Worldstone, the Archangel Tyrael decided to break the Stone to save humanity. The player's goal is to destroy the shards beckoning to the hellish creatures that want to revive Diablo.

Players will not see the heroes of previous games in the series, such as Tyrael, Malthael, and Leah. Instead, there will be new heroes and NPCs, compared to Diablo III, but not according to the canon. Anyway, you'll meet Deckard Cain, who will be one of the NPCs with whom there are dialogues in the game. Along with the canon characters, Diablo Immortal also features other characters from the lore and new ones. You will meet some NPCs and monsters for the first time.

A demon named Skarn is the main villain in Diablo Immortal for iOS. He is Diablo's most potent servant, gathering an army to restore the Worldstone and resurrect his master. The main antagonist in the game is not new, and he has been known before from the Diablo series of games. However, he appears here for the first time.
